more nostalgia: i've found an exellent Amstrad CPC64 emulator. i've haven't really game'd since those days. and programming BASIC was fun :P .. bit like html actually

i've started my son's enormous (well one day) LEGO collection, starting out with some basic DUPLO. not a big hit right now, he seems to be more into dad's knobs and gear

browsing through the current 2010 catalogue, i see LEGO have whored out to lucas and whatnot .. ah, at least the good old days can be found here
